The ARMC AEGiS Hospital offers a range of services and facilities which are designed to minimise the stress of childbirth and to make the birthing experience as positive as possible. Our delivery rooms are furnished to a high standard and are fully equipped to provide a comfortable and safe environment. All our postnatal rooms have a bedside cot for your baby, Nurse’s call system, attached bathroom, television, telephone, air conditioning and wifi. 24 hour room service is available with a varied choice of high quality and nutritious meals and our catering team can cater for most dietary needs.

We pride ourselves on our cleanliness and strict infection control measures are followed by staff at all times. We also pay vigorous attention to the safety and security of our patients and staff. There are strict visitor identification and ward entry procedures. All babies have an electronic tagged bracelet applied from the time they are born which is removed at the time of discharge.

Preparing for your stay

What to bring

We provide a number of items for your personal comfort. However you may want to bring some of the items below with you:


We advise you to ask relatives or friends to look after your valuables and money and not keep them with you. The hospital will not accept any liability for any personal valuables as we are not able to monitor their usage and access by patients or their families and their visitors.

Medicines from home

You may be asked to bring tablets or medicines which you are currently taking at home. If this is the case, please show them to duty nurse and any doctor who visits you following your admission.

Electrical appliances

For safety reasons, the management will not allow the patients, attendants or visitors to use personal electrical appliances

On arrival

On arrival at Hospital please report to the main reception desk. A member of our front of house staff will meet you, escort you to your room and explain our facilities for your comfort and care. Our admissions team will visit you in your room to check that your personal and insurance details are in order and to collect a deposit as appropriate.


Your partner and your baby’s siblings may visit at any time. Your partner can stay overnight, in your room. Your other visitors are welcome between 10am-2pm and between 4pm-10pm; they will need to collect a security pass at the main reception. They will also need to report to the ward staff at the reception desk on your floor before entering your room. Visitors must wash their hands before they hold your baby. If you have other children visiting, they must be supervised by an adult at all times.

Additional Services

New Baby arrival Ceremony

The arrival of the new member of your family will be celebrated by decorating the rooms with colour balloons and customised cake cuttings etc. This may be a part of your delivery packages and if not it can be organised at a nominal price.


The most valuable moments in your life ie the arrival of your new born to this serene world will be captured along with the proud parents and grandparents by professional photographer and it will be compiled in a themed album and will be presented to the couple upon discharge from the hospital. As a valued client of ARMC AEGiS Hospital you are entitled to receive a complimentary photographic session every year until your child’s 12th birthday. Your complimentary photo session includes a pregnancy session and a photography session at our Hospital.
